Supplements in The Last of Us Part 1 remake are the main way that you can upgrade Joel’s stats and boost his skills, alongside unlocking new skills. But, in order to make meaningful upgrades, you will want to know all of The Last of Us Part 1 remake’s supplements locations.

These items in the environment are tucked away in the grass, hidden in rooms, or found sneakily tucked away in drawers and cupboards. Therefore it can be hard to find enough of them to feel like you really made some significant upgrades to Joel.

But, to save you hunting around every level, this guide will cover all of The Last of Us Part 1 remake’s supplements locations. They are all split into the chapters of the game, so you can easily go back to a chapter if you need to!

All of The Last of Us Part 1 remake’s supplements locations can be found below:

There are 10 supplements located in The Outskirts chapter of The Last of Us Part 1.

Upon entering the large, tilted skyscraper in this chapter, head into the room ahead and you can find a set of supplements on a shelf.

Continue on until Joel gets attacked by a clicker during a cutscene. Once Tess kills it, head into the next room with the vending machine. Look to your left to find a Shiv door. Break the seal using the shiv, to find some supplements on a shelf inside the room.

The next bottle of supplements can be found after you have fought the large group of runners and clickers. You will make your way through the ruined building. After crouching under a wooden door hanging above you, take the path forward and climb through the next small gap.

Once up here, look for the red shop sign and a ramp leading downwards. Before going down, walk along the edge of the platform above the ramp to find some supplements at the end.

Continue forward until you reach the subway station. When you first drop down, you can find a phone to your left. In the booth, there is a bottle of supplements.

Much later in the level, you will escape some runners by closing a garage door. Inside this garage, you can find a large blue truck. Go into the back of it to find a set of supplements.

After you get into the museum and are split up from Ellie and Tess, you will find yourself in a set of rooms with a number of Clickers. Exit the room where you begin and take a left into the next room, which is a small cafe.

Here you can find a shiv door which you can open. In the room, on a set of shelves is the bottle of supplements.

The next supplements bottle can’t be obtained till after you have entered the Capitol Building. After the cutscene, head up the stairs and into the first room, which has a lectern. On that lectern, you can find the supplements.

Jump into the next building and fight off the first wave of enemies. Walk to the end of the corridor, but before heading under the archway to the next room, take a left to find a small office connected to the side rooms. Here, on a desk, you can find the supplements.

After exiting the Capitol Building, kill the two enemies in the subway after you jump down. Head onto the subway tracks and look behind you, away from the direction you are meant to go. On the backside of a train car down this dead end, you can find some supplements.

Continue onwards until you dive underneath the train car and Ellie stands on the platform at the end of her path. Jump up to that platform with her and look next to the dead body to see a flooded staircase. Dive down, swim through, and then back up to the surface to find some supplements above the water.

There are 13 supplements to find throughout the Bill’s Town chapter.

At the beginning of Bill’s Town, go down the path in the forest to the right. Behind a large rock you can find a plant here.

Once you enter Bill’s Town, go into the building in the centre and in the corridor on a chair you can find some supplements.

Head back outside and look at the shiv door opposite the building, by the gate you need to go through to progress. Open it to find some supplements inside.

After opening the gate thanks to Ellie, take a hard left and head to the small garden behind the building. By the fountain, you can find another supplements plant.

Head all the way down the street until you see a large restricted sign. To your right, next to a car there will be a safe. The note with the code is in the barbed wire at the end of the road, but you can open it with the code: 5-17-21 to get some more supplements.

Head down the alley to the left of the record store and you will find a Shiv Door to your side, round the back of the building. Open it to grab some supplements inside.

After you grab the bow and go past one of Bill’s traps, look to your left to find a door to a building. Go inside and upstairs to the bathroom to grab some supplements. Watch out for the enemy in here!

After you go up the stairs in the bar, turn around and go into the kitchen. In here you can find a small set of supplements on the kitchen side.

After you reach the church, before jumping out of the window head into the room on your right to find some supplements on a shelf.

Once outside, you will pass a circular courtyard with a bunch of clickers. As you head down the stairs to the courtyard, look to your left to see a tree. Next to the tree is a supplements plant.

Once you have climbed into the second house using the treehouse and jumped down, turn to your left. Here you can find another supplements plant by the gate to the house.

From the supplements above, head inside the house. Once inside, head up to the bedroom at the back of the house to find a small bottle of supplements on the set of drawers.

After the entire school sequence, Joel, Ellie, and Bill will be prepping to start up a car. Before doing so, head into the kitchen to find another bottle of supplements.

Pittsburgh has a large number of supplements with 17 bottles to find.

After you go through the garage once finishing the initial fight, head up the stairs and into the side room. In here, in the case between the two beds you can find some supplements.

After exiting the building, hop down to the main highway and look behind the first car. Here you can find a supplements plant.

Once on the top floor of the large building where the Hunters are, head to the right side next to the cafe. Here you can find a shiv door. Open it to grab some supplements inside.

The next supplements location can be found once you climb out of the previous building and jump down onto the van. In some rubbish next to that van, you can find the pill bottle sitting on the ground.

Once you see the Hunters pull the plank away ahead of you, look to your left to find a shiv door you can open. Inside is another bottle of supplements.

Continue slightly onwards and into the next building where you need to climb onto the submerged vehicles to get to the hotel. Head upstairs before going into the hotel to find the supplements sitting in the corner of the desk.

After entering the hotel lobby turn to your right and you can find the check-in desk. Sitting on this desk is the bottle of supplements.

Once you enter the hotel rooms and corridors, head into room 306. In the bathroom, you can find a bottle of supplements.

From there, head into room 204. Go into the bathroom to grab some supplements from the drawer underneath the sink. You can also grab an optional conversation location here as well.

Once you are down in the hotel basement, head up to the second floor of this area to find a set of supplements on a shelf in the laundry room.

After you exit the basement level of the hotel, head into the next corridor and you can find a supplement bottle in the room in front of you.

Once you and Ellie have fought all the Hunters in the square, go into the next building and use the cart to jump to the following room through the gap. On the left, after you have jumped over, you can find the next bottle.

When you and Ellie head past the next set of enemies, you will see a building in the corner, opposite the ladder you use to progress. Head inside and to the back room to find a shiv door with some supplements inside.

After escaping the armoured vehicle initially, you will cross some planks in between two buildings high up via a fire escape. As you jump into the second building, look in the bathroom to the left to find a bottle of supplements.

Upon meeting Henry and Sam, head downstairs and you will find a shiv door ahead of you. Open it to grab the next supplements bottle inside.

Continue onwards into the office room and look in the staff kitchen. On the breakfast bar you can find a bottle of supplements to grab.

Finally in this chapter, once you reach the Irish bar, kill the enemies and head to the reception area connected to it. On the left, there is a food kart. Underneath the backside of that cart, you can grab the final bottle in this chapter.

The Suburbs chapter has nine supplements locations for you to find in both the streets outside and the sewers.

Once you are in the sewers, head with Ellie down the right path. Ask her to crawl through the gap and open the gate from the other side. In this storage area you can find the bottle of supplements on a shelf.

After you cross the giant flooded room, look to the left and you will find a small room. Inside you can grab some tools and the supplements from the shelf.

As you continue through the sewers you will come across an area where people were living. Before continuing on to the left, head down the path and look for brown lockers on your right. A small pill bottle can be picked up here.

Continue onwards until you reach a set of shelves with a door on the left tucked behind them. Open it to find a room with a corpse in it by some shelves. Sitting by the corpse is a supplements bottle.

In the large arena with the Clickers, Stalkers, and Runners you can find a small square hatch on your right, before the children’s area. Head inside to find some supplements on a shelf.

Once outside, head into the first brown house on your right. Go into the bathroom to grab some supplements.

Continue all the way down the street and enter the final house with the white walls on the outside. In the living room, by a chair, you can find a bottle on the floor.

In the same house, head up one floor to find a safe. If you go up another floor you can find a matchbook with the safe code: 08-21-36. But, you can just open it without that and grab the supplements inside.

When you are being sniped from the house at the end of the road, make your way into the last house on the right side of the street. On the top floor, in the back room, you can find the final bottle of supplements in this chapter.

Tommy’s Dam has five supplements locations scattered throughout its few locations.

Once you and Ellie get to the lower level of the dam you will see a door on your right. Use a shiv to open it and find some supplements inside.

After getting to the gates of the main dam facility, before you go inside look behind the digger. Here you can find a supplement plant in the ground.

Once Joel splits off from Ellie and you get to the first new room with Tommy, head up the staircase. Turn into the room at the end of the walkway and on the left, you can find a pill bottle.

Continue on with Tommy and you will eventually meet two people at a table looking at a map. Just next to them you can find a small bottle of supplements.

When you reach the ranch house while looking for Ellie, turn to your left after entering the front door. Open the door to the bathroom and you can find some supplements by the sink.
